أطلقت هيئة الأدب والنشر والترجمة اليوم فعاليات النسخة الخامسة من ملتقى الترجمة الدولي 2025،في مركز الملك فهد الثقافي بالرياض، بمشاركة أكثر من (30) جهة محلية ودولية وأكثر من (70) خبيرًا ومتحدثًا من (22) دولة حول العالم.
وأكد الرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة الأدب والنشر والترجمة الدكتور عبداللطيف بن عبدالعزيز الواصل، بأن الملتقى يشكّل فضاءً مفتوحًا للحوار وتلاقي الثقافات، وتُبنى من خلاله رؤى جديدة لمستقبل الترجمة بوصفها أداة لصناعة الفهم المشترك بين الشعوب، مشيرًا إلى أن الهيئة تسعى من خلال هذه النسخة إلى أن يكون الملتقى منصة عالمية لالتقاء المترجمين والمهتمين في مجال الترجمة، تُسهم في تطوير بيئة الترجمة وتوسيع أثرها في صناعة المحتوى والمعرفة.
ويأتي الملتقى تحت شعار «من السعودية.. نترجم المستقبل» ليؤكد مكانة المملكة بصفتها مركزًا ثقافيًا مؤثرًا في دعم صناعة الترجمة وتعزيز التواصل المعرفي والحضاري بين الشعوب بما يتماشى مع مستهدفات رؤية 2030 في ترسيخ الحضور الثقافي العالمي للمملكة.
ويقدّم الملتقى برنامجًا ثريًا يجمع بين النظرية والتطبيق عبر 7 مسارات رئيسية تشمل جلسات حوارية تناقش قضايا الترجمة الحديثة وتحتفي بالعام الثقافي السعودي الصيني، وورش عمل تدريبية متخصصة في تقنيات الترجمة وتطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي، إلى جانب حلقات نقاش بحثية ينظمها المرصد العربي للترجمة، ومسارات تفاعلية مثل «قابل الخبراء» و«حكايا ترجمية» و«تجربة التقنية التفاعلية»، إضافة إلى مشاركة الأندية الطلابية التي تستعرض مشروعات طلاب الترجمة في الجامعات السعودية.
ويمثّل ملتقى الترجمة الدولي منصة عالمية لتبادل الخبرات واستشراف مستقبل الترجمة، وتأكيد التزام الهيئة بتطوير القطاع وتمكين المترجمين، وتعزيز حضور اللغة العربية في الحراك الثقافي والمعرفي العالمي.
The Literature, Publishing, and Translation Authority launched today the fifth edition of the International Translation Forum 2025, at the King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh, with the participation of more than (30) local and international entities and over (70) experts and speakers from (22) countries around the world.
The CEO of the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Authority, Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdul Aziz Al-Wasel, confirmed that the forum represents an open space for dialogue and cultural exchange, through which new visions for the future of translation are built as a tool for creating mutual understanding among peoples. He pointed out that the authority aims, through this edition, to make the forum a global platform for bringing together translators and those interested in the field of translation, contributing to the development of the translation environment and expanding its impact on content and knowledge production.
The forum comes under the slogan “From Saudi Arabia… We Translate the Future” to affirm the Kingdom’s position as an influential cultural center in supporting the translation industry and enhancing knowledge and cultural communication between peoples, in line with the objectives of Vision 2030 to establish the global cultural presence of the Kingdom.
The forum offers a rich program that combines theory and practice through 7 main tracks, including panel discussions addressing modern translation issues and celebrating the Saudi-Chinese cultural year, specialized training workshops in translation techniques and artificial intelligence applications, in addition to research discussion sessions organized by the Arab Translation Observatory, and interactive tracks such as “Meet the Experts,” “Translation Tales,” and “Interactive Technology Experience,” along with the participation of student clubs showcasing translation projects from Saudi universities.
The International Translation Forum represents a global platform for exchanging experiences and envisioning the future of translation, reaffirming the authority’s commitment to developing the sector, empowering translators, and enhancing the presence of the Arabic language in the global cultural and knowledge movement.
